2M801 Dual-Start Acme Thread (Micro38999)

Description

Micro-miniature circular connector — less than half the size and weight of MIL-DTL-38999 while meeting similar environmental requirements. Dual-start ACME thread mates in just 1.5 turns. 10 shell sizes (05–21), 1–130 contacts. Considered a legacy design largely superseded by the 2M805 Tri-Start for new designs, but still specified on many existing military and aerospace platforms.
