Description
The global standard PV connector, invented by Multi-Contact (now Stäubli) in 2004. Rated 1500 V DC and up to 30 A (6 mm²) or 45 A (10 mm²). Snap-lock engagement prevents accidental disconnection. Stäubli holds approximately 50% of the global PV connector market. IEC 62852 and UL 6703 certified. The only connector sanctioned by most major module manufacturer warranties — mating non-Stäubli MC4 connectors voids certification. Used on virtually every utility-scale, commercial, and residential solar installation worldwide.
